In this 2nd post on the importance of Vegetables for Weight loss, we’re going to provide one method for increasing the number of servings of vegetables you have each day.
Commit to having a large salad every day
Having a daily salad as a meal or before your main course is a great was to boost your overall vegetable intake & is also a great way to prepare your digestive tract before eating the main course.
Here is a simple & tasty recipe to keep it quick & easy (just add & subtract for flavour)
- 1 bag of your favourite greens
- Half large cucumber (sliced)
- One Carrot (sliced)
- Half Avocado
- Olive Oil &/or balsamic vinegar as dressing
This salad recipe will yield an extra 5 or more servings of vegetables each day – depending on how large you make the salad.
