In this 3rd post on the importance of Vegetables for Weight loss, we’re going to provide a 2nd method for increasing the number of servings of vegetables you have each day.
Commit to having a pile of cooked or steamed vegetables for dinner
Make a commitment every night to having a pile of cooked or steamed vegetables with your meal. It’s easy to add five or more servings of vegetables into your evening meal by doing this. Keep it simple & choose vegetables that are tasty & easy to cook – such as:
- broccoli
- brussels sprouts
- cauliflower
- cabbage
- carrots
- spinach
- kale
- zuchinni
- squash
- artichokes
- asparagus
Simply steam them for 1-2 minutes or lightly cook them in a pan w/butter or coconut oil & ENJOY!!
