In today’s quit smoking tip, we’re going to explore our fifth Mindset Tip – Only buy packs of cigarettes, not cartons!
Only buy a pack at a time, and then, only carry two or three cigarettes with you at a time (try putting them into separate tins or packets).
The idea is to make it less & less convenient for you to smoke, by not having cigarettes so readily around you.
As a result, you’ll find that when you do want to smoke, more & more effort will be required to do it.
The same process applies to someone wanting to lose weight. If they remove all the junk food from their house & place of work, then slowly but surely, they will reduce their consumption of it as it just requires them too much effort to have it – inevitably helping them to reduce their weight!
This process will slowly wean you down to fewer & fewer cigarettes each day, making it easier & easier to quit!
