In this post, we are are going to continue exploring the importance of carbs for weight loss.
As we learnt in our last post, the body craves what you already have in it. So if our current diet is full of refined carbs, as it is for most people, this will create craving for more refined carbs. This then becomes a vicious cycle!
These refined carbs are turned into sugar and are promptly stored as fat.
So how do we stop this cycle? It comes from using your body cravings process to your advantage rather than to your disadvantage! How?
You see, the opposite is also true of cravings! When you remove sugar from your diet, your insulin levels begin to drop & your energy levels go up & stay up longer!
Your biochemistry has changed in a positive way! Little changes add up quickly, because your biochemsitry changes on a daily basis!
You’ll get new cravings & you’ll notice you no longer crave those refined carbs anymore. From here, it becomes easy to make better choices as your body is now craving the GOOD STUFF!!
Will this happen overnight – NO! Will it take some effort – YES!
However, once you start, day by day, it will become easier & easier!’
Instead of the body’s cravings working against you, they now work for you – how good is that!
The benefits will be AWESOME!
Once you remove refined carbs & sugar from your diet, you’ll notice you’re not as insulin resistant & you’ll have so much more energy. You’ll become addicted to all the good things from now on – so having an addictive personality will be a great advantage here!!!
It might become fresh vegetables or a fruit smoothie. Beautify yourself from the INSIDE OUT!
While it may not happen immediately, whats most important is that we take the FIRST STEP, get on the RIGHT PATH, and before we know it, new habits will develop in relation to these better choices.
You’ll then start to make better choices on AUTO PILOT – effortlessly & easily – how awesome is that!! This process thereby beautifully illustrates the importance of carbs for weight loss!
