Cravings for Weight Loss

In our next series of posts, we are are going to explore the importance of carbs for weight loss, including why we crave them.

If you have a look at the contents of people’s shopping trolleys at the supermarket, you’ll notice that they generally consume a significant amount of refined and processed carbohydrates.

In fact, when you do your grocery shopping this week, do a careful audit when you get home as to how much refined and processed carbohydrates. you have bought this week. You could be in for a big surprise!

What happens when you ingest these refined carbs?

They turn into sugar and then your body stores them as fat!

This is what develops cravings!

The body craves what you already have in it. This then becomes a vicious cycle!

In response, you go back for more of these refined carbs, which again turn into sugar. These are promptly stored as fat & create even more cravings.

And so the cycle continues over and over again, resulting in more & more fat accumulating in the body!

So how do we break this vicious cycle?
