In this post, we’re going to study the relevance of fear for weight loss.

The 2nd type of courage we need to develop to reach our goals relates to overcoming FEARS & WORRIES!

In society, people are paralysed by fears & worries which lead to ulcers, heart attacks, cancers etc. We are literally killing ourselves with worry!

People have a fear of going into business, going out of business, public speaking, how others see them etc etc

What does FEAR stand for?

FALSE EXPECTATIONS APPEARING REAL

Most FEAR comes about due to an overactive imagination!

You see most things that we worry about never happen!

People also worry about problems. It is important to realise, however, that problems are an inherent part of life. The only people that don’t have problems are those that are in the cemetery!

You see, when we embark on a new goal or desire, say lose 5 kgs in 6 weeks, this causes movement or change. And movement/change causes friction. It is this friction that causes problems!
